PORTFOLIO

Here is a sampling of websites that I have done professionally.

Due to the transitional nature of the Web, items are linked to the live Web site where possible, and offered as descriptions or links to screen captures when not.

Design and Build
The following sites represent work that I have both designed and built.

submit articles to In Demand Content

InDemandContent.com (external link)
A content directory where web promoters can submit articles and content. People can find free articles to reprint on their websites or in their ezines. This site is powered by the Article Dashboard CMS and will soon generate advertising revenue.

Livejazzpiano.com (external link)
Jonathan is a jazz pianist and singer who needed a website to market his live entertainment to restaurants and event planners. The index page is optimized for the keywords his prospective clients would be using to search for his services. A jukebox plays samples of his music and the on-site contact form allows visitors to write to him without having to open their email programs.

What Time is it, Mr. Fox? (external link)
The leader of this band had a very specific look he wanted. He created a mock-up of a site page in Photoshop and provided all the images. I was able to duplicate his mock-up in html using frames and javascript. The neat "pop-up" effect on the links was created using overLIB, a javascript library created by Erik Bosrup.

Taking Positive Steps (external link)
I designed and built this site for Meghan Gehan of Taking Positive Steps, a small business for life coaching. She provided the text and images. The site uses CSS to control the look of the text and tables to control the layout. Her "Monthly Step" page uses powerful blogging software that makes posting her monthly article as easy as sending an email.

GBMHP.org (external link)
I built this site for GBMHP, a small public health program. After a splash page the website uses a Content Management System allowing staff members to update information themselves as often as they like from any computer with internet access without any HTML knowledge.
